Amy's Vision for the Republican Party of New Mexico

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Voter Registration

Using a strategy fueled by data, we will utilize voter rolls and demographic data to identify low-registration areas and prioritize targeted outreach. County-specific plans will equip local parties with clear voter registration targets and provide toolkits for events like fairs, parades, and door-to-door campaigns. Engagement efforts will include hosting registration drives in community hubs, schools, and events, as well as collaborating with faith-based organizations and veterans' groups to promote civic involvement. To motivate success, recognition programs will reward counties that exceed registration goals with awards presented at state conventions.

Election Integrity

To ensure integrity in our elections, we will establish a comprehensive legal framework for injunctions, including a statewide legal team tasked with election monitoring and protocols for filing injunctions swiftly when irregularities arise. Republican poll workers and watchers will be trained and deployed in every precinct, partnering with county clerks to review election procedures for accuracy and compliance. Transparency will be enhanced by advocating for legislation requiring hand-count audits, open public observation of vote counting, and tracking software to verify ballot chain-of-custody.

Blue to Red

To expand Republican influence in traditionally Democrat strongholds, we will focus on emphasizing local relevance and bipartisan solutions. Counties will host town halls in blue areas to address pressing local issues like crime, education, and economic development. Messaging will highlight solutions that benefit all New Mexicans, such as job creation, tax relief, and enhanced public safety. Additionally, coalition building will prioritize partnerships with independent and moderate Democrat voters to form issue-based alliances that resonate across party lines.

Officer Training

To empower county officers with the tools to grow their local party, RPNM will host quarterly training sessions focused on voter outreach, fundraising, and messaging tailored to specific county needs, along with mock scenarios for conflict resolution and guidance on supporting candidates effectively. Regional leadership conferences will be organized to reduce travel burdens while fostering collaboration between counties. Additionally, we will launch a digital training hub, providing officers with access to training materials and a platform to connect with RPNM leadership for ongoing support and development.

Candidate Recruitment

To prepare for the 2025 and 2026 elections, RPNM will partner with other Republican entities and organizations to identify, train, and support Republican candidates. Candidate search committees will be established in every county to recruit individuals who reflect community values and priorities. A robust training pipeline will provide workshops on campaign strategy, public speaking, and fundraising to equip prospective candidates for success. Additionally, mentorship programs will pair new candidates with experienced party leaders to offer guidance and ongoing support throughout their campaigns.
